Out on the blades! You can hit the ice in Terenten

Winter sports options around the Kronplatz go beyond skiing, snow shoeing and sledging. The traditional sports are still alive and kicking here too; ice skating has a long history here, and we continue it passionately. Almost every holiday area on the Kronplatz has its own skating rink. Terenten is no exception. Our sports centre has an exceptionally well-tended natural ice rink, which is open every day until 10pm. For our hotel guests, it is just a minute’s walk away. That must be a good reason to check it out!

Several ice rinks: it’s your choice

In the on-site sports bar, you can rent skates if you do not have them with you. Ice skating is the perfect way to relax after a long and fulfilling day. A few relaxed circuits raise the pulse ever so slightly and bring your body back into harmony. Just one elegant turn ups the ante, however; finally, it’s holiday time! If you get a taste for skating, a visit to the Eisring in Reisschach is definitely worth it, as is a trip to the Welsberger Kunsteisanlage or the Eisstadion in Bruneck.

Almost all natural ice rinks offer curling as well; they are frequently run by our local clubs. Perhaps this elegant winter sport is something completely new to you. Getting involved is worth it. It’s all about agility and precision, and team spirit is utmost, just like playing skittles or bowling. Brushes can be rented trouble-free in Terenten. Do try it out!
